Important Message from Glacier Ridge Snow Tubing

On January 1st, 2019, our dome facility at Glacier Ridge Sports Park was severely damaged during the wind event that took place in the early morning hours.  While the snow tubing portion of the park only suffered minor wind damage, the damage to the dome was catastrophic.  We are in the early stages of recovery and currently it is hazardous for the facility to be open to the public.  Henceforth, Glacier Ridge Snow Tubing will not be open for the season until we can ensure that the entire park is safe for our customers to return.

If you have purchased tickets on our website keep in mind that they do not have an expiration date and will be good for any date once we reopen.  Also, all tickets purchased through a 3rd party will be honored throughout the remainder of this season.  As a courtesy to these customers we will be extending the expiration date of these purchases till April 1, 2020.

Thank you for your understanding during this trying time.  If you have any questions, please contact us directly at todd@dougmillersoccer.com or 585-352-5300.

Thank you

Is snow tubing safe?
Snow Tubing, like skiing or snowboarding, is an adventure sport, and therefore does have some inherent risks. Glacier Ridge does everything possible to operate a safe Snow Tubing Park. Our lifts are inspected daily to ensure safe operation, our friendly staff undergo many hours of training, completing checklists to ensure the safety of all our guests and staff.

Can my child ride on my lap?
For the safety of all our guests and staff Glacier Ridge does not allow riders to carry other persons on their laps.

When is snow tubing open?
See our Information page.

If I have a birthday party, social gathering or just friends from work, can I reserve my tubing session in advance?
Yes! The best way to guarantee your tubing spot is to book in advance!

How should I dress for snow tubing?
Dress for winter weather! The best way to prepare for an outdoor adventure is to layer clothing. This provides the option to add or remove layers in the event of changing weather conditions. Wear a hat, gloves, boots, a warm jacket, and snow pants if you prefer.
